We are engaged in a number of research topics, such as VoIP, wireless communications, information industries, international comparisons, and would be happy to work with students who seek interesting projects for research papers, MA theses, or PhD dissertations. Following are a few areas the Quello Center is strongly interested in.  Dr. Bauer and Dr. Wildman would be happy to supervise independent studies, MA theses, or doctoral dissertations in these areas (and are available to discuss them for term papers etc.).

Next generation networks, services, applications

Governance of advanced communications technologies (including Internet governance)

Internationally comparative studies of communications and information industries, services, applications

Business strategies in communication industries (responses to convergence, pricing, innovation, network firms)
